What ten habits will improve our life?

  1. When interacting with any person, make sure your positive to negative communications ratio is at least 3 to 1.
  2. Never dread or worry about impending challenge (in advance). Use that energy to prepare instead.
  3. Conversely, always anticipate and savor impending joy.
  4. Never bash yourself and put yourself down (whether internally or expressly).
  5. Learn how to breathe properly (through your belly, not chest).
  6. Write down your daily priorities every morning, before you do anything else.
  7. Always treat yourself as well as you would treat your 3-year old child.
  8. Don’t compromise on your moral principles. The negativity that follows will drain your energy and cost you too much.
  9. Leave every place you visit a better than you found it.
  10. If you’re going to assume anything, assume something good.
