Loads of people avoid barre chord songs.   They seek out songs that do not require barre chords or get super frustrated when they do show up in a song they want to learn.   Sound familiar? Check this out...   I just selected a random group of some of my 1-on-1 students. A group of 25 people to be exact.    Based on their barre chord skill, those 25 people fall into 3 groups: 10 of them can play barre chords either perfectly or quite well. (some folks in this group still need a little practice, but they can make barre chords sound musical)  10 of them are actively working on barre chords.
